Being in England last week was interesting. Most of the people i spoke with were complaining about Bush's visit as a major cost. I doubt that the UK is divided in its opinion of Bush. Blair is viewed as Bush's lap dog, but unfortunately there isn't a strong alternative party. My grandparents have finally given up on the conservative party and are now members of the Independent party. Here are some links to British newspapers - they frequently report what is not reported in the US papers.
For example there's a big article today on battle of Samarra that the US claims killed 54 guerillas but when they investigated their doesn't seem to be any evidence of the killings suggesting it was news for headlines and not real.

It's pretty full and thorough with one major exception: they don't yet have the candidates positions on the issues (at least those that I looked at). I'm hoping these will be coming soon...
